Jose Medina is the Founder and CEO of SEC 5 Private Security, Inc., bringing over a decade of active law enforcement experience and proven business leadership to the private security industry.

 

A graduate of the Butte Law Enforcement Academy (2010), Medina has served as an active law enforcement officer for more than ten years and currently serves as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff/Coroner assigned to the Patrol Division. He is POST-certified and consistently maintains up-to-date law enforcement training, including Critical Incident Response, Dealing with Difficult Persons, De-escalation Techniques, Workplace Violence Prevention, Human Trafficking Awareness and Response, Strategic Communications, and advanced public safety operations.

 

Prior to his career in law enforcement, Medina developed a strong foundation in business leadership, serving as a Finance Manager and later a Sales Manager in the automotive industry. This experience provided extensive expertise in team management, financial oversight, client relations, and high-pressure decision-making.

 

In 2017, Medina founded SEC 5 Private Security, Inc. with the mission of elevating standards in the private security industry by applying real-world law enforcement principles such as discipline, accountability, professionalism, and preparedness. Under his leadership, the company emphasizes proactive security strategies, comprehensive training, and ethical service delivery.
